1. When to pray

a. Daily: In the morning

Psalm 5:3
In the morning, O LORD, you hear my voice; in the morning I lay my requests before you and wait in expectation.

b. Morning and evening

Psalm 92:1-3
1 A psalm. A song. For the Sabbath day. It is good to praise the LORD and make music to your name, O Most High,
2 to proclaim your love in the morning and your faithfulness at night,
3 to the music of the ten-stringed lyre and the melody of the harp.


Also with music.

c. Twice daily

Psalm 88:1
A song. A psalm of the Sons of Korah. For the director of music. According to mahalath leannoth. A maskil of Heman the Ezrahite. O LORD, the God who saves me, day and night I cry out before you.

d. Three times a day

Psalm 55:17
Evening, morning and noon I cry out in distress, and he hears my voice.

Daniel 6:10
Now when Daniel learned that the decree had been published, he went home to his upstairs room where the windows opened toward Jerusalem. Three times a day he got down on his knees and prayed, giving thanks to his God, just as he had done before.

e. In the night

Psalm 119:55,62
55 In the night I remember your name, O LORD, and I will keep your law.
62 At midnight I rise to give you thanks for your righteous laws.


f. All night

Luke 6:12
One of those days Jesus went out to a mountainside to pray, and spent the night praying to God.

2. Postures in prayer

a. Bowing

Genesis 24:52
When Abraham's servant heard what they said, he bowed down to the ground before the LORD.

Exodus 34:8
Moses bowed to the ground at once and worshiped.

b. Kneeling

1 Kings 8:54
When Solomon had finished all these prayers and supplications to the LORD, he rose from before the altar of the LORD, where he had been kneeling with his hands spread out toward heaven.

Ezra 9:5
Then, at the evening sacrifice, I rose from my self-abasement, with my tunic and cloak torn, and fell on my knees with my hands spread out to the LORD my God

Psalm 95:6
Come, let us bow down in worship, let us kneel before the LORD our Maker;

Luke 22:41
He withdrew about a stone's throw beyond them, knelt down and prayed,

c. Hands uplifted

d. Standing

Luke 18:11

e. Babbling

Matthew 6:7-8
7 And when you pray, do not keep on babbling like pagans, for they think they will be heard because of their many words.
8 Do not be like them, for your Father knows what you need before you ask him.


3. Where to pray

Nowhere in scripture the word "church" identify not a place of worship, but rather a group (or body) of believers, and only in the New Testament.

The place where God was worshiped : Courts / Holy place / Holy temple / House of God / House of the Lord / House of prayer / My Father's House / Sanctuary / Tabernacle / Temple

House of God

A place of prayer.

Matthew 21:13
"It is written," he said to them, "'My house will be called a house of prayer,' but you are making it a 'den of robbers.'"

Holy

1 Corinthians 3:17
If anyone destroys God's temple, God will destroy him; for God's temple is sacred, and you are that temple.
